Time is flying by and summer break is nearly upon us, there are 4 more weeks of school before I have full time children until September. I have managed to organize swimming lessons and tomorrow I will sort out a week of adventure camp for Jacob (with 3 days for Rose too now she's old enough). A list of 'exciting' activities will also have to be compiled in order to keep my sanity intact and the blog even vaguely interesting.
Yesterday we went on a long overdue shopping trip for jeans, t shirts and sandals. Jacob also bought a 'bone file' for his best friend's birthday and Rose has a new night dress. I was trying to steer her towards cute flowery cotton ones but she stayed true to herself and chose this one, not only is it very Rose in style, it is also 100% polyester so will probably not be at all comfortable on humid summer nights. Oh well, she's happy.
I should have a separate blog called 'A Walk in the Pinery'. Guess what? we went for walk in the Pinery today. Today's finds of interest were a beaver cut tree.
